Skin Edit Screen

By using the "Skin Edit" function in the paint store, you can edit the skin to create a unique robot of your own. The Paint Store is a facility that can be found in every city.
In the skin edit screen, you will be able to edit the skin for every part of the selected robot. There are basic functions like pen tools, paint tools and undo/redo functions that are commonly found in mainstream graphic editing tools.
The skin editor in Steel Chronicle C21 -Steel Battle Chronicles- will save the skin files as a unique format called CS format and will able you to upload the skin data once again to the game.

Upload and Save Skin Files
This will allow you to upload and save CS format files. Note that CS format files can not be opened in other graphic editing tools. If you have the same parts that have been edited by the skin editor, you will be able to upload the files. When you save the skin files, only the parts that have been modified from their default textures will be saved.
Image Upload and Save Image
When you purchase an item called Paint Premium, you will be able to upload and save image files that have been edited by other graphic tools.
Undo and Redo
You can undo the last action you took with [ Undo ] and use the [ Redo ] to reimplement an action that was reversed with [ Undo ].
Copy, Paste and Reset
You can copy the selected area and paste the image that you have copied with [ Copy ]. You can reset the change to default.
Zoom
By moving the scale, you can zoom in and out on the canvas.
Parts Details
The parts list of the selected robot will be displayed by clicking on the parts icon. Parts that have been edited will have a "*" mark on the parts name.
Preview
Displays a preview of the robot being edited. You can rotate the robot by dragging the mouse cursor across the preview screen.
Canvas
Where the editing takes place. Use the tools to edit the skin.
Tool Details
The toolbox that houses the tools that you can use to edit the skin.
  • You can select an area on the canvas. After you have selected an area, you can cut and paste by dragging the selected area.
  • Pen tool to draw on the Skin. You can change the thickness of the pen by selecting the thickness icon below.
  • Line tool to draw straight lines on the Skin. You can change the thickness of the line by selecting the thickness icon below.
  • You can create a square. You can change the thickness of the line by selecting the thickness icon below. If you put a check in "Paint" below, you the square will contain a fill.
  • You can create an ellipse. You can change the thickness of the line by selecting the thickness icon below. If you put a check in "Paint" below, you the ellipse will contain a fill.
  • The selected part will be painted in the color you have selected.
  • You can move the canvas.
  • You can click on the canvas to zoom in to the canvas.
  • You can change the thickness of the drawing tools. You can select from 4 levels of thickness.
  • If this box is checked, the square or the ellipse you have drawn will contain a fill in the selected color.
Indication
You can turn on the [ UV ] and the [ GRID ] so that you can see the UV of the parts and grid for the canvas. UV: Lines will be indicated on the canvas. You editing will only be affect what is inside these lines. GRID: Grid lines will be indicated on the canvas.
Color Used
The color used on your robot. There are 4 primary colors; main color, sub color, light color and frame color. Each can be changed by the user to customize their robot.
Color Table
You can select the color you wish to use on your robot.
Cancel Button
You can cancel the changes you have made and return to the previous page.
Confirmation Button
You can confirm the changes you have made and apply them to the robot after paying the paint fee.
